Vintage Sylvanian Families Marquee from the Flair era (item 4495), complete with its original box and the grey cat grandmother figure who judges the village show. This is the blue and white striped version with the fabric roof and two red flags, and it is a lovely big display piece for any Calico Critters or Sylvanian Families collection.
Condition: The marquee is in very good condition, with the fabric roof clean and the scalloped trim, windows and walls all intact. The grandmother cat has full, clean flocking and is wearing her original floral dress and brown shawl. The box shows honest wear: creased and worn corners, some tearing along the top edges and old tape repairs, so please look closely at the box photos.
The set is complete and has the bonus added cat figure! What's included, as photographed: the marquee (base, walls, fabric roof and two flags), the stage with microphone and two speakers, two display tables, the vegetable entries (cabbages, cauliflower, carrot, corn, aubergines, pumpkin with vine) and a wooden tub, four cakes and pies on plates, the grandmother cat figure, and the original box.
Tomy and Flair era shop fittings and buildings are getting harder to find with their boxes, so this is a great one for a display shelf or a diorama.
