Here comes Dolly Dale with her candy floss trike! This is the original Flair-era release of the Sylvanian Families Dolly's Candy Floss set (Flair 4678), imported from England, not the later re-issue. Dolly is the Dale sheep aunt and was only ever released in this set, so she is the one to find if you are rounding out a Dale sheep family collection.
Condition: Dolly's flocking is clean and even, but does have a slight bit of discoloration on her cheek. With bright eyes and a tidy tail, and she wears her original pink dress with the red and white striped apron and collar. She has the earlier open gripping hands, so she can actually hold her candy floss, which marks her as the original Flair release rather than the later version with fixed hands. The cart's stickers are all present, the candy floss bowl lid opens, the side counter folds down and the basket lid opens. The umbrella canopy has a couple of tiny surface marks you have to look for. The underside of the trike carries the Epoch / Flair Leisure Products stamp. No box.
Included (everything shown in the photos):
- Dolly Dale sheep aunt in her original dress and apron
- Candy floss tricycle cart with fold-down counter and opening candy floss bowl
- Wicker-look basket with opening lid
- Pink and cream Candy Floss umbrella with its pole
- Four pink candy flosses on sticks
Please note the two ice creams and stand that came with the original set are not included.
A sweet add to a fairground or seaside diorama, and she pairs beautifully with the Dale sheep family.
